Fixed point plateaux measured by JV within the MultiFixRad project.

Description

The dataset contains measurement of fixed point plateux induced in the Ag, Fe-C and Pd-C cells created by JV during the project MultiFixRad (see the community to which this deposit belongs). The data file "smu_plateaux_txt" contains one plateau for each fixed point. It is a semicolon delimited text file with four columns:

  1.  Fixed point, a string, and either Ag, Fe-C, and Pd-C. For instance, each row labelled "Ag" is a datapoint recorded from the Ag cell. 
  2. Count, an index into each row for each fixed point. The counter is reset every time a new fixed point is started.
  3. Duration since a start (a point during the initial rising flank just after the furnace temperature has been increased to above the melting temperature).
  4. Signal, as measured by a nanovoltmeter, in mV.

The file load_example.m is a Matlab code snippet to load the contents of the data file into a Matlab workspace. 

The radiation thermometer is a custom built device. It contains an interference filter with a nominal spectral response (see file header). The filter was heated during the experiments (28.5 °C). This modifies the response by shifting the peak transmission wavelength.
